Irish or EU photo card driving licence
EU/EEA national identity card with photo

Bring the original documents that need to be notarised. If you need certified copies, you must bring the originals so we can verify and certify them.
Bring the actual document — power of attorney, contract, affidavit, declaration, etc. If it was sent to you electronically, print it out and bring the printed copy.
If you need certified copies of passports, degrees, birth certificates, etc., you must bring the originals. We cannot certify a copy of a copy.
Any correspondence from the requesting party (embassy, solicitor, bank, employer) explaining what they need notarised and in what format.
Pro Tip: If you're unsure whether your document is in the correct format, email it to info@phelansolicitors.com or call us before your appointment. We can review it in advance and save you a wasted trip.
Depending on the type of document being notarised, you may need to provide proof of your current address. We'll advise you when booking.
Some documents require one or more witnesses to be present during the signing. We'll tell you in advance if witnesses are needed for your specific documents.
